Reigning MVP Stephen Curry is now being recognized as the best player in the world, standing all alone as the highest rated player in the video game.

Curry has been moved up a single point to 95 Overall, overtaking LeBron James who began the season as the top rated player in 2K16 but hasn’t budged off that initial 94 rating. Already the best shooter in the game, Curry got boosts to his Standing Shot Close, Standing Shot Medium, Moving Shot Close, and Moving Shot Medium attributes to help moving him up the one point.
In leading the Warriors to the record-breaking 16-0 start, Curry is averaging 32.1 PPG, 5.9 APG, and 5.1 RPG while shooting 51 percent from the field. This is the first time in the last five years that James hasn’t at least shared the top position in the NBA 2K series.
