Spider-Man: No Way Home’s trailer launch will take place at Regal Sherman Oaks in Los Angeles on November 16. This is one month ahead of the highly anticipated theatrical release of Spider-Man: No Way Home in December. The event promises a “trailer launch fan event with big surprises,” suggesting that the second trailer may finally confirm some of the film’s longest-running rumors. For those that are outside of the Los Angeles area, it is unclear when the trailer will officially become available. Given the information that may be revealed in the trailer, Marvel will likely have to release it shortly after.

Social media has already played a pivotal part in the build-up for Spider-Man: No Way Home. The countless rumors, leaks, theories, and photos that have surfaced on the web make it almost impossible to know what’s real and what isn’t. A second Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer would likely clarify some of the ambiguity, but it may not tackle all of it. Now that the trailer will be released, November 16 will be an exciting day to keep an eye on social media.

Previously reported leaks have laid reasonable claim for Marvel fans to believe that they will see the MCU debuts of Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Charlie Cox. While these men have denied their involvement in the film, it wouldn’t be the first time that Marvel stars have attempted to be misleading about an upcoming project to avoid spoiling. Given the photos that have often been dismissed as a case of photoshop, confirmation of any of these stars’ appearances in a second trailer could finally grant them the opportunity to speak freely about their involvement.

When released, a second trailer for Tom Holland’s third Spider-Man installment has the potential to surpass the impressive milestone set by its first. Within its first day, the first No Way Home trailer earned an impressive 355.5 million views across all platforms. It was filled with easter eggs, including Green Goblin’s pumpkin bombs, the return of Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock, which suggested the return of Maguire’s Spider-Man. Should the second trailer add the appearances of Maguire or even Garfield, and offer an official look at the other villains that will appear in the film, No Way Home’s second trailer may mark a new milestone.

Spider-Man: No Way Home premieres in theaters on December 17, 2021.
