Because Amicia will only have a sling as her main weapon, the player needs to come up with creative strategies to get through the game without wasting their resources. Certain hidden materials can be hard to find, but alchemist carts placed in certain areas, can make the journey more manageable. Here’s where to find them all.
Chapter VII: The Path Before Us - First Alchemist Cart
In this chapter, Melie interrupts Amicia and Hugo’s sleep, because the inquisition has come to find their hideout. Together, they make their way out to the forest. Melie teaches Amicia the Devorantis recipe, which is helpful in killing the soldiers that are looking for them.
After getting through the forest and into the portcullis, players will find Lucas captured and escorted by a soldier. Kill the soldier to reunite with Lucas. Follow him through the forest to find the first Alchemist Cart.
Chapter IX: In The Shadows Of Ramparts - Second Alchemist Cart
Upon reaching an area where Amicia will hear guard with a shield throwing a sick person into the river, hide and distract him by hitting the box of armor. Use an Odoris on him to distract the rats. Cross the bridge and continue walking until Amicia reaches an alley with 2 guards and a spot light stand. Ignore them for now.

Sneak towards the left alley and jump over the stone wall. Throw a Luminosa at the center to kill all the rats and to reach the second Alchemist cart.
Chapter X: The Way of Roses - Third Alchemist Cart
After the cutscene with the Grand Inquisitor, escape through the hall with Rodric and get out of the library. Upon seeing a soldier with a shield, Rodric will teach Amicia the Extinguis recipe. Use it on the him and proceed down to the courtyard.
Stick to the right side to see two wooden fences, and distract the rats before reaching the other side. On the right, use a Luminosa to kill all the rats and to reach the third alchemist cart.
Chapter XII: All That Remains - Fourth Alchemist Cart
In the de Rune Estate, leave the kitchen area and proceed towards the garden. Light up the two torch stands, one on the right behind the haystack and the other on the far left. Now, light up the haystack on the right and continue doing so until they reach the far left torch stand with pushing cart nearby.
Don’t light the cart just yet. Instead, tell Lucas to stay before Amicia makes her way to the fourth Alchemist cart.
Chapter XVI: Coronation - Fifth Alchemist Cart
As the two soldiers go after Melie and Lucas, ask Rodric to kill the remaining soldier and continue moving forwards until a bell rings. Look on the right side for a door with a white cross mark, and turn right to see a helmeted soldier guarding the fifth alchemist cart. Let Rodric kill him to get inside it.
