Various online forums related to Pixel phones are flooded with complaints about this SIM Manager issue. This issue comes out of nowhere and keeps annoying users by displaying an error message on their phone’s screen.

Most users that have this error use a Pixel 5, 4a, or 4a 5G.

How to Temporarily Fix the SIM Manager Issue on Pixel Phones

Until Google rolls out a fix, you can apply a temporary solution to get rid of the aforesaid error from your Pixel phone.

It’s believed that the latest update to SIM Manager has caused this problem. If you get rid of that update, your Pixel phone can get free from the error message.

You can actually uninstall updates for any app on your phone, including SIM Manager. Once you get rid of the latest SIM Manager update, the error should likely be gone from your phone.

To do that, open Settings on your phone, go to apps, and tap the SIM Manager app. Then, tap the three dots in the top-right corner and select Uninstall updates.

If Google’s working on an update to fix this issue, the update will likely be automatically installed, since it’s for a system app.
