RELATED: Things You Didn’t Know About The Lost Ark MMO
Lost Ark releases with an array of content in the form of a 50 level player grind, endgame dungeons, raids, and sieges that will keep players hardcore and veteran alike busy for a long while. In addition, Lost Arc launches with 15 classes, with even more planned on the way. With its current roster to grind monsters and bosses into dust, here are the best classes to use in Lost Ark’s PVE.
6 Lost Ark’s PVE
Lost Ark’s PVE consists of many facets, from life skills to card collecting. However, the most crucial piece of the New MMO’s content (other than its fashion) is its endgame tiers; Lost Ark’s endgame consists of swarm mode activities called Chaos Dungeons and intricate raids filled with spectacular boss fights that will require expert teamwork and class specialization.
Players will need to know the dos and don’ts in order to climb up the endgame ladder and make it to the top of tier 3 content. While all classes in the game are fun to play and viable, there are those that shine above the rest. While the holy trinity may be vacant in Lost Ark, roles such as Tank, Healer, DPS, and Support are still extremely important and, if not performed correctly, is the difference between Clearing and Wiping.
5 Artillerist
The Artillerist is a part of the Gunner specialization; it carries a giant cannon and performs close to mid-range high damage abilities. The Artillerist is currently one of the most sought out classes in Lost Ark because of its ease of play and ranged abilities.

The Artillerist currently has one of the highest damaging awakening skills in the game and a damage-boosting resource system that also allows it to take less damage, up to thirty percent, on top of a shield that blocks damage. The main stats of the Artillerist are Agility and Critical.
4 Gunlancer
The Gunlancer is a member of the Warrior specialization; it’s one of the most sought-after classes in Lost Ark, especially on Korean servers where the Meta is more defined. The Gunlancer excels in tanking with the ability to switch to a defensive stance and create a shield to repel damage from bosses for itself and teammates.
Additionally, Gunlancer’s taunt is a must-have to pull boss aggro and asure that teammates can dish out significant damage without the worry of being targeted. While the skill gap is as high for any tank in charge of a raid or dungeon, once practiced, the Gunlancer is fun and interesting to play. The Gunlancer’s main stats are Swiftness and Critical.
3 Scrapper
The Scrapper is a very vital class in Lost Ark and a member of the Martial Artist specialization; on top of its hard-hitting abilities, Scrapper also specializes in Destruction damage which aids in staggering and stunning enemy bosses. This ability is extremely important as it leaves bosses open so that party members can pile on damage safely for a short amount of time.
Scrapper is a solid class overall lacking slightly in mobility but still having enough viability to maintain high damage numbers in endgame content. Scrapper is easy to pick up but at higher level content is harder to master but taking the time is worth it with how valuable this class is to a party. The Scrapper’s main stats are Specializations and Critical.
2 Bard
The Bard is perhaps the most needed class to a party next to Gunlancers and Paladins. Being a member of the Mage specialization, the Bard class shines with healing and buffing party members quickly with large AOE skills that can provide health buffs and shields to allies.

The Bard is possibly the best support in the game with its strong support potential in endgame content where it really matters. The Bard pays for this by having low damage numbers; if some players feel helpful by doing higher DPS numbers, this may not serve as the best class to play as opposed to classes like Gunlancer, who can still dish out adequate numbers depending on the playstyle.
1 Sorceress
The Sorceress is potentially the most damaging class in Lost Arc currently in NA. Another member of the Mage specialization, The Sorceress can cast large area damaging attacks of multiple elements that cause hindering effects to bosses and enemies.
Sorceress is a strong DPS in any party composition but shines when there is adequate support or tank to soak up damage and take the heat off of this squishy class. Lacking in the mobility department and needing a touch of skill to accurately aim and make contact with its skills, the sorceress is a low skill threshold class that many can pick up and do well within Lost Ark’s endgame.
Lost Ark is available now on PC.
