Like many other MMOs, Lost Ark makes use of guilds for players to come together, form a community, and take on multiplayer content. But Lost Ark throws a lot of information at players very quickly, so information like how to join a guild can get lost in the mix. Fortunately, this handy guide serves as a refresher.

How to Join a Guild

To join a guild, players must first go through the tutorial and make it to the city of Prideholme. Once there, a new button will be available in the bottom right of the UI called Community. Clicking that and then selecting Guild will bring up a window of guilds recruiting, and the option to create a guild. If a player is looking for a specific guild, they are able to search based on the name, description, or enlistment type. Like many games, guilds may come together for different objectives like PvP, dungeons, or raiding.

Request will send a request that must be approved by the Guild Master. If the guild has instant join, the player will immediately be placed within the guild. Finally, guilds may be password-protected. These require a specific password that will then admit the new member.

How to Leave a Guild

Should things not be working out with the new guild, leaving might be the best option. After all, a guild isn’t for everyone and some people would rather hunt down Mokoko Seeds than deal with potential guild drama. Fortunately, Lost Ark makes leaving a guild even easier than joining.

Simply type /guildleave in the chatbox. This will bring up a prompt confirming that this action is desired. Alternatively, a guild can be left by using the Guild Interface by pressing ALT+U. In the top right of the interface are two arrows used to navigate left and right. Click the right arrow to move to the management screen. Then select Leave Guild at the bottom of the window.

Lost Ark is available on PC.
