RELATED: Lost Ark is Adding a New Class With the July 2022 Update
One of the biggest additions coming to the game in September is the new Machinist class, the fifth advanced class for Lost Ark’s Gunner. The Machinist has an interesting high-tech sci-fi theme standing in stark contrast to much of Lost Ark’s magical high fantasy setting, unleashing explosive carnage with its futuristic arsenal of machine guns, laser weapons, and drones. The Machinist’s identity skill is Hypersync, charged whenever the Machinist lands an attack. Once Hypersync is entered, energy will be spent to enhance the Machinist’s abilities, transforming his drone into a battle suit similar to Iron Man. The Machinist class is a renamed version of Korean Lost Ark’s Scouter.
Coming soon in August, players will be able to unlock the Pet Ranch, where they can recover pet morale, manage pet functions, and earn Jelly Cookies to exchange for rewards. Lost Ark is introducing its third new Legion Raid later on in September featuring an unsettling circus theme. The Kakul-Saydon Legion Raid will have players facing off against members of the Mayhem Legion in the Midnight Circus. Unlike Lost Ark’s other Legion Raids, Kakul-Saydon is a four-player raid. While the raid requires Item Level 1475, an “easy mode” version called Midnight Circus: Rehearsal can be attempted at Item Level 1385.
A global chat room, better cross-server interaction, new hairstyles, and improved controller support are some other features listed in Lost Ark’s roadmap for August and September. PvP in Lost Ark is getting some attention as well, with a PvP balance patch and better PvP settings in the works for the September update. With meaningful content updates consistently released since the game’s launch, it’s no wonder how Lost Ark holds the attention of such a massive player base.
Lost Ark is available on PC.
