RELATED: Lost Ark September Update Is Packed With Quality-of-Life Changes
Celebrating community and kinship, Arktoberfest is the latest Lost Ark seasonal event, this time mirroring the real-world Oktoberfest which is kicking off at the same time in Munich. The event will run from September 16 to October 3 and hosts a number of unique activities. During weekends on server-time, a Fever-time button can be activated to claim special food for useful buffs including Festival Sausage, Festival Pretzel, and Festival Gingerbread that each boost primary stats and a choice of attack speed, crit rate, or movement speed.
Members of the game’s Creator Program can also enable new Twitch drops for Lost Ark that reward viewers with festive beer-head cosmetics such as Lager, Indian Pale Ale, or Stout which players may wear on top of their heads. These can be unlocked by viewers once they have clocked in four hours of applicable Lost Ark streams. For more Arktoberfest activities, players can visit Gesbroy Island, home of world-famous breweries where some new quests are available that yield themed rewards like the Lager Doll Mask which turns players into a beer glass. Players can also earn the Gesbroy Island Soul by completing a series of co-op events, along with a set of co-op quests that rewards successful players with a special title.
Holiday events are always a great way to shake up the world of MMOs and give players something new to look forward to in between running Lost Ark’s raids or grinding out for their strongholds. Players can expect a few more seasonal events before the year is over thanks to holidays like Halloween and the following winter holiday season.
Lost Ark is available on PC.
