Plenty of issues with the game have been fixed through updates released to fix problems wherever possible. Lost Ark recently received its weekly update today and has patch notes revealing which issues were identified and fixed in the game. One issue the new weekly update addresses is the problem with the Competitive Proving Grounds Ranks in the game.

The update fixes the issue concerning Lost Ark players starting at Bronze Rank instead of at Silver Rank for the Competitive Proving Grounds. Now players who have already started the Proving Grounds season will notice a positive adjustment made to their MMR in the game. This will result in a bump of 250 MMR to “close the gap” for players who started their season at 1250 MMR and not the updated 1500 MMR. Players who are just starting their season in the Proving Grounds will now automatically start at 1500 MMR in the game.
The last weekly update to Lost Ark on March 24 brought its own improvements to the game as well. The improvements included adjustments to honing materials, new events, and the beginning of Competitive Proving Grounds Season 1 for the game. It also made adjustments to the Arkesia Grand Prix Reward, made several bug fixes, messaging updates, and added a new fraud and bot prevention system to help crack down on bots and fraudulent purchases made in the game.
Along with resolving the issue with the Competitive Proving Grounds Ranks, the current weekly update provides fixes to several other issues in Lost Ark. The second issue it addresses is the problem with the OT timer not appearing during PvP matches in the game. Another issue the update fixed was the problem with chat text, where the text would be “unsuitably altered” or be displayed outside the chat box.
The weekly update to Lost Ark also made an improvement to the Weekly Battle Item Bundle, which will let players select their preferred battle item chests in the game instead of getting a random grant. The update concludes by addressing that the development team is aware that the game’s server time is being incorrectly displayed in certain regions in Europe that follow DST. However, the post has been updated and states the maintenance is complete, and the servers are back online.
Lost Ark is available now on PC.
